MedInformatix to Convene Radiology Practices at Revenue Cycle Management Summit in 2018

Chicago, IL and Los Angeles, CA – (November 28, 2017) Healthcare information technology innovator MedInformatix announced today at the 2017 Radiological Association of North America Annual Meeting they will host an industry summit examining the business critical function of revenue cycle management. The summit will take place January 10 and 11, 2018, and bring together select MedInformatix radiology clients to share best practices, discuss ideas for systems improvement and explore opportunities to maximize their enterprise's productivity and profitability.

“With pending new ANSI standards and regulatory initiatives, medical billing is becoming increasingly more complicated,” said Pat McGonigle, President and CEO of MedInformatix. “This summit is a realization of the importance of this enterprise function and healthcare information technology's ability to positively shape it. We've spent considerable time internally discussing how we can best serve our client's needs in this area and it seemed logical to bring the best minds together to explore how we can improve our already strong revenue cycle management process through collaborative innovation.”

The summit is expected to take an in-depth look at current and future regulatory trends and best practices, and launch a new product roadmap how MedInformatix can help practices more fully optimize their revenue cycle. Attendees will look at how practices of varying compositions handle revenue cycle challenges and outcomes, then create enhancement requests that can positively impact the broader customer base.

In an industry where solutions are routinely viewed as “me-too,” the MedInformatix approach to revenue cycle management is tailored to each customer's unique needs. “Our teams study a practice's workflow, payor mix and demographic composition right out of the gate to determine where opportunity exists to maximize revenue,” added McGonigle. “Then, working with our industry partners and specialist in revenue cycle management, we construct a one-of-a-kind infrastructure to position clients where they need to be. I'm confident this summit will strengthen our approach and be of long-term benefit for our clients as well as the industry as a whole.”
