The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) confirms that MedInformatix, Inc., MedInformatix, Version 7.0 is a CCHIT Certified 08 Ambulatory EHR.
CCHIT confirms that the product has passed 100% of the Ambulatory EHR 08 test script, ensuring it fulfills the following criteria:

- Interoperability — enabling standards-based data exchange with other sources of healthcare information. (For additional details, see the CCHIT Functionality Criteria for 08.)

MedInformatix V 6.0, a CCHIT Certified Ambulatory EHR for 2006
As a CCHIT Certified product, MedInformatix has been tested and passed inspection of 100 percent of a comprehensive set of criteria for:
i. functionality (ability to create and manage electronic records for all patients, as well as automating workflow in a physician’s office),
ii. interoperability (a first step in the ability to receive and send electronic data to other entities such as laboratories), and
iii. security (ability to keep patients’ information safe).
MedInformatix has been a nominee for the past seven years with a previous win in 1999. This year again, MedInformatix brought home a win in the category of Ambulatory Care – Clinical/Patient Information Systems.
