Automated Document Distribution
(Print Server)
All completed
office notes are stored in the Document Repository
and once they are electronically signed, each
is saved as an encrypted, medically legal document.
The Document Repository also holds any scanned
or incoming faxed documents, hospital, lab, or
radiology reports, electronically signed consent
forms, and digital images. This part of the system
acts as the paper chart and each section may be
created and named by the practice. All documents
stored in the repository may be printed or faxed
at any time.
Referring Physician
Web Module
Referral letters
are customizable and may include a patient’s entire
office note or just key components that the physician
wishes to include. These letters can be automatically
generated by the EMR and printed for later mailing
or automatically faxed to the referring physician.
Automated Remittance
Module
Electronic remittance
processing can increase the efficiency of any
practice by eliminating the need to manually post
payments received from some insurance carriers.
MedInformatix has the ability to import electronic
remittance files directly in ANSI format from
Medicare and Blue Cross in most states. Commercial
claim electronic remittance is also available
through some clearinghouses, incoming faxed documents,
hospital, lab, or radiology reports, electronically
signed consent forms, and digital images. This
part of the system acts as the paper chart and
each section may be created and named by the practice.
All documents stored in the repository may be
printed or faxed at any time.
Real Time Claim Status
Besides electronic
eligibility, MedInformatix offers electronic claim
submission, claim status, and remittance processing.
Electronic
Claim Status
MedInformatix
allows the option of checking the status of claims
submitted to insurance carriers. Practices can
electronically access information displaying the
receipt and payment status of their pending claims.
