HDL Module
HDL Module receives and saves all billing needed information through acceptable types of interface from outside system. It will search, match, create, update, and consolidate patient’s demographic, insurance, order code, referring physicians, etc. with MedInformatix EMPI and build in tables; It also uses unique identifiers to match reports with patient, etc. This module provides the most advanced technology to improve the productivity and efficiency of billing process. Only Available with V7.0 or above.
Digital Dictation / Transcription Module
Digital Dictation Module allows physicians to directly dictate into the patient's Electronic Medical Record. Not recommended for high volume facilities. And Customer must purchase and have Philips Speech Mike and Philips Foot Pedal ready before installation.MedInformatix E-Prescribing Module
The e-prescribing initiative will be unfolding over the next couple of years, and CMS has provided practices incentives to enhance and increase adoption. Starting January 1, 2009, physicians who e-prescribe will receive a 2% bonus on their Medicare claim payments in 2009 and 2010. The 2009 requirements of standardizing the medication data table along NCDP guidelines, providing electronic submission through a certified SureScripts connection, and drug-to-drug interaction and allergy checking are all included in the MedInformatix E-Prescribing Module. In addition, our e-prescribing tool also allows formulary checking and has patient education sheets available for print.
Automated Document Distribution (Print Server)
All completed office notes are stored in the Document Repository and once they are electronically signed, each is saved as an encrypted, medically legal document. The Document Repository also holds any scanned or incoming faxed documents, hospital, lab, or radiology reports, electronically signed consent forms, and digital images. This part of the system acts as the paper chart and each section may be created and named by the practice. All documents stored in the repository may be printed or faxed at any time.
Provider Portal
Allows the Referring Providers to Request Appointments, Review Reports, Images and Appointment Status on the Web with Strict Security Protection. Speed up reports turnaround and set your practice apart from other specialists. Only available with V7 or above.
Automated Remittance Module
Electronic remittance processing can increase the efficiency of any practice by eliminating the need to manually post payments received from some insurance carriers. MedInformatix has the ability to import electronic remittance files directly in ANSI format from Medicare and Blue Cross in most states. Commercial claim electronic remittance is also available through some clearinghouses.

Besides electronic eligibility, MedInformatix offers electronic claim submission, claim status, and remittance processing.
Electronic Claim Status
MedInformatix allows the option of checking the status of claims submitted to insurance carriers. Practices can electronically access information displaying the receipt and payment status of their pending claims.
