This is a 3 day meeting consisting of Training, Group Discussion and Social Events. This meeting is open to ALL SPECIALTIES.
You will receive a formal registration packet later this month providing further meeting details and hotel information.

1 Evening Reception will be held at the Embassy Suites Lobby. This event is complimentary for all overnight guests at Embassy Suites Hotel,

if you are not a hotel guest at the Embassy Suites and would like to attend the Evening Reception, please contact Kristine Lowe for reception

tickets. Reception tickets are complimentary for meeting attendees.

2 Thursday Night Social is complimentary to all vendors, attendees and guests of attendees. Please contact Kristine Lowe if you plan to bring

guest to this event.

3 MedInformatix is located at 5777 West Century Blvd. Suite # 1700. Direction to the office will be distributed during the meeting. MedInformatix

staff will also be at the lobby of Embassy Suite Hotel to provide direction.

4 Site Specific Training will be conducted at the Embassy Suites Hotel meeting rooms. Attendees participating in Site Specific Training should

have a prioritized list prepare prior to the meeting.

Scheduling Refresher Course Designed for Office Manager and Office /Scheduling Staff who are familiar with Scheduling, this course offers a second look at Scheduling in MedInformatix. Learn about different ways to schedule an appointment in Books View, Set Appointment View, Search View and via Appointment Wizard.	Security Designed for Practice Administrator and Office Manager, this course will go over security settings and options within MedInformatix.
Advance Scheduling Designed for Office Manager and Office/Scheduling Staff who are experts on Scheduling, this course will cover new scheduling features and offers tools to optimize existing scheduling functionalities. This course will also cover reporting and performance tracking aspects of Scheduling.	PM Reporting Designed for Managers, Administrator and Executives, this course offers a refresher course in reports generation and selection. Attendees will learn to generate Ad-hock reports and export reports to Excel, Crystal Reports and other reporting software for further manipulation.
Billing Refresher Course Designed for Billing Manager/ Staff, Practice Administrator and Office Manager, this course will cover new features in Billing and offers a second look at Charge Entry, Claims Processing, and Payments. The course will also cover the time-saving benefits of MI Auto- Remittance module.	Advance Reporting Designed for Managers, Administrators and Executives who are experts on generating Reports, this course offers an in-dept look on how to create and custom reports using Med- Reports and Crystal Reports. Attendee must have Crystal Reports loaded on laptop to participate in this course. Previous experience with Crystal Reports is required.
Advance Billing Designed for Billing Manager/ Staff, Practice Administrator and Office Manager, this course will cover new billing features and offers tools to optimize existing billing functionalities.	Auto Remittance Designed for Billing Managers/ Staff, Practice Administrators and Office Manager, this demonstration will provide an overview on how the Auto Remittance can save your practice time and money, eliminate human errors and speed up your billing cycle.
Collection Designed for Billing Manager/Staff, Practice Administrator and Office Manager, this course will broaden your knowledge and use of the Collections Modules. Attendees will learn practical, revenue- enhancing skills such as creating and assigning criteria-specifics work list, utilizing collection ticklers and other Collections procedures.	Web Referring Module Designed for Managers, Administrators and Executives of specialty practices, this demonstration will provide an overview on how the Web Referring Module helps track and generate referral business. Advance Integration with ZirMed Design for Managers, Administrators and Executives, this demonstration will provide an overview on some of the advance Zirmed integrations available to MI users. These advance integration allows complete automation in claims processing and allows batch eligibility checking of future appointments.	EMR Customization Designed for Providers, Clinical Staff and System Administrators, this course will cover new features in EMR and learn the basic on how to manipulate and customize your existing Decision Tree.
MI Patient Portal Designed for all users of MedInformatix; this demonstration will show case our newest Patient Portal Module.	Advance EMR Customization Designed for Providers, Clinical Staff and System Administrators who are experts on MedInformatix EMR, this course will cover advance customization techniques, clinical tables and
Hospital Download Module Description to be announced.	E-Prescribing Designed for Providers, Clinical staffs and Practice Administrator, this class offers an overview on e-Prescribing bonus and regulations. Attendees will view a demonstration of MI eRX module and contribute to future development direction in the discussion group.
A-Life Integration Designed for Billing Manager/ Staff and Practice Administrator, this demonstration will showcase our newest integration to A-Life to improve the accuracy and speed of your claims.	MI Print Server Module Designed for all users of MedInformatix, this course will demonstrate the benefits and application of MI Print Server Module. Simplify and automate reports distribution and eliminate paper whenever possible.
MI Executive Dashboard Designed for Managers, Administrators and Executive Management; MI Dashboard offers a snapshot of your practice’s financial, clinical and patient data.	Clinical Reporting Designed for Providers, Clinical Staffs, Practice Administrators and System Administrators, attendees will learn to extract valuable clinical information and create Ad-Hoc reports.
Road to EMR Implementation Designed for Providers, Clinical Staffs, and Practice Administrators who are looking to adopt EMR in the near future, this course will provide a roadmap to EMR Implementation and offers tips on how to evaluate an EMR system. Attendees will also learn the benefits and challenges associated with implementing an EMR solution.	MI PDF Tool Designed for all MedInformatix Users; this demonstration will showcase our newest tool to eliminate paper in your office and make EMR adoption easier than ever!
EMR Refresher Course Designed for Providers and Clinical Staffs, this course will cover new features in EMR and revisit standard EMR templates and workflow.

Site Specific Training Design for all attendees, this Site-specific training class allows you to go over training topics specific to your practice. Small class with 6-1 attendee to instructor ratio provides a more intimate setting for training and Q/A. Limited availability, first come, first serve. * Round table session may be combine/split based on number of attendees in the group.


There will be break out sessions on Wednesday and Thursday to accommodate different user-level and specialties. We may offer additional courses on Friday, please refer to the final meeting guide for detail.

Registration fee is $250/day per attendee. You are free to pick and choose the days you’d like to participate. We are extending the 20% off Early Bird Discount until April 30th, 2009. All registration received before April 30th will qualify for the discounted rate at $200/day per attendee.

Hotel rate is estimated at $125.00 per night. Hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to/from LAX.
