Technical Support

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support to end users and distributors via phone, email, faxes and/or onsite.
• Performing trouble shooting, diagnostics, customization, minor development, remote training.
• Concisely documenting customer calls/emails, inquiries and resolutions into company support system.
• Testing and reporting errors and bugs.
• Learning and supporting new modules and products.


Required Skills:

• Strong problem solving skills and analytical abilities to research and determine an appropriate course of action in a variety of situations
• Good time management and abilities to handle multi-tasks.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience providing PC software support services for operating system platforms including Microsoft Windows 98, NT, 2000, and XP; Experience supporting Microsoft Explorer and Netscape browsers, printers and network drive mapping; and understanding and experience with Web-based communications is a plus.
• Basic SQL, C++/VB, Crystal Reports knowledge is required.
• Understanding of Medical billing, Clinical workflow, HIPAA is a plus.
• A college degree or above is a must.

Database Engineer

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Database analysis and trouble shooting
• Train and support internal staffs and end users on database related issues
• Lead data conversion meetings to obtain requirements and specs between systems; perform the data conversion; document all details related to the projects
• Develop reports by using MedInformatix build in report module and/or Crystal
• Responsible for delivery the complete projects on timely manner.
• Clearly and effectively communicate with clients, other developers & management
• Document the source code (if there is any), procedure and requirements
• Draft user manual and support manual related to the reports


Required Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skill, people person, and a team player
• Must be proactive and enthusiastic with excellent customer service skill
• Well organized and detail oriented, able to work with minimal supervision
• Understands and practices the software development process
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Tsql. Performance tuning. Backups, etc)
• knowledge of C++/.NET, windows/UNIX is a plus
• Strong planning and coordination skills
• Able to come up with own solutions and have confidence in their success
• Fast learn and self educator. Eager to learn new technology and language. Always keep up with the industry standards.
• Understand and experience with serial communication, experience with interfacing medical devices, experience in developing interfaces with laboratory systems, or have an understanding of the medical/clinical workflow is a plus
• A college degree or above is a must

EMR Specialist
Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Develop curriculums in various multi-media formats for client usage
• Provide internal documentation on an ongoing basis
• Support key EHR Team deliverables and work within defined project plan timelines
• Design, develop and support new features based on needs identified by the project
• Document bug fixes and improvements to existing features
• Contribute to system improvement efforts through process analysis and workflow redesign

Required Skills:
• Two-year college degree in health information management, information technology, business administration, communications, education or a related field OR 5+ years EMR/HER or related experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
