RE: Letter of Reference

I write this letter of reference with 7 years of experience working with MedInformatix in multiple Radiology practices. I am also a Partner in a multi-specialty Medical Billing company where we install MedInformatix in our clients’ practices for data entry, etc. to eliminate paper processes for billing. All of our clients have found MedInformatix to be more user friendly and adaptable to their practices than their current or any former systems.

I initially started working with MedInformatix in 2001, after our current RIS product basically abandoned my practice (our product was bought by a larger competitor and they decided not to continue R&D on the product, no longer supported the product and wanted us to invest in their “latest” product). We were in a bind, but did not want to be forced into making a quick and possibly wrong decision to purchase a replacement system.

The criteria list I created when looking for a new RIS system was to have complete integration from front end (scheduling/registration) to back end (billing and AR management). I also wanted financial reports that allowed strategic marketing plans to be developed from our practice data and a vendor that could work with multiple modality vendors for HL7 interface to all modalities, dictation/transcription and PACS. No small order!

After much due diligence, MedInformatix was selected as the only vendor that could deliver ALL the components I desired in a system. Since the Radiology support team and their entire support staff set foot into our practice, I knew I made the correct decision. MedInformatix has assembled staff, created relationships, and taken the necessary time to learn Radiology. I have struggled with other vendors, insurance carriers, and even my own staff members who have not invested in the time necessary to education themselves in their industry and then be able to deliver a key product/service that performs to our practices expectations.

Not only has the MedInformatix team been able to meet my expectations as a Practice Administrator, but they have delivered ideas and workflow processes that I could not envision, saving me time and money for the last 8 years and helping me to gain market share in our demographic area. They really invest time in each area of our practice, with just about every employee to figure out their roles, how they currently operate and then analyze how things can be done more efficiently. Extensive customization is often needed in a system to meet the demands of our practice workflow and MedInformatix has always been able to understand our needs and deliver a better product!

As a company, MedInformatix has many years under their belt in the area of development and training. Their support staff has longevity and in depth knowledge of how their clients operate. I consider MedInformatix another member of my team, not just a vendor. From the owners to their support staff, every member of MedInformatix is approachable and always available to meet our practices needs.
