Junior
Interface Programmer
Job Description and Responsibilities
Interface Developer:
• Setup, install, and testing existing
and/or developed interfaces.
• Train and support end user on how to use developed
solutions
• Lead interface meetings to obtain interface
requirements between systems; analyze interface
requirements; document all details related to
interface projects
• Develop interfaces to various medical devices
and other medical information systems
• Responsible for delivery the complete projects
on timely manner.
• Clearly and effectively communicate with clients,
other developers & management
• Document interface source code, installation
procedure and requirements
• Draft user manual and support manual related
to the interface
Required Skills:
• Must love doing interfaces, well
organized and detail oriented
• Strong planning and coordination skills; able
to work with minimal supervision
• Understands and practices the software development
process
• Excellent oral and written communication skill,
people person, and a team player
• Familiar with SQL and SQL 2000 Server, understanding
of TCP/IP networking, Strong knowledge
of C++/VB, windows/UNIX
• Able to come up with own solutions and have
confidence in their success
• Fast learn and self educator. Eager to learn
new technology and language. Always keep
up with the industry standards.
• Understand and experience with serial communication,
experience with interfacing medical
devices, experience in developing interfaces with
laboratory systems, or have an understanding
of the medical/clinical workflow is a plus
• A college degree or above is a must.
